Career changer programme terms

Version 1.0 · Last updated 10 October 2026

Text in square brackets will be completed before paid programmes open.

These terms apply when you register with SprintPivot as a career changer, and when you buy a programme. Please read them with our cancellation and refunds policy and our privacy notice. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

1. Who we are

SprintPivot is provided by SprintPivot Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number [to be added]), registered office [to be added] ("SprintPivot", "we", "us"). Contact us at support@sprintpivot.co.uk, or about payments at billing@sprintpivot.co.uk.

2. What SprintPivot is

SprintPivot helps you explore career directions, identify transferable skills, develop the skills for a target role, practise through realistic projects and build evidence for your applications. It is a career-development and learning service. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, salary increases or placement, and we never apply for jobs on your behalf.

3. Programmes and prices

Explore: free

An initial career-readiness assessment, a transferable-skills overview based on the information you give us, pathway previews, an initial skills-gap summary and free resources. Explore does not include the full learning programme, mentor sessions, mentor-reviewed projects or any job guarantee.

Sprint: £300

Your personalised learning pathway for a supported target role; structured modules and progress tracking; practical sandbox projects with briefs, datasets and review criteria; self-assessment and skills-gap tracking; live vacancy searches (you apply directly); and project work in your Career Proof profile, labelled as self-checked. Sprint does not include mentor sessions, mentor-reviewed projects or capstone, or guaranteed placement. Pay £300 once, or three monthly payments of £100.

Accelerate: £750

Everything in Sprint, plus a defined mentor package: one initial transition session (about 60 minutes); two practical project reviews with written feedback against published criteria; one mentor-reviewed capstone with written feedback; competency feedback only for skills a mentor has actually reviewed; Career Proof with transparent review status; career-transition and interview guidance within the programme; and employer visibility that you control. Mentoring is limited to these sessions and reviews and is not unlimited. If a mentor asks for changes to a project, your revised version is reviewed as part of the same review. Pay £750 once, or three monthly payments of £250.

Upgrading

You can upgrade from Explore or Sprint at any time during your access period by paying only the difference, on the same payment option as your current programme. From Sprint to Accelerate this is £450 once, or three monthly payments of £150 if you pay for Sprint monthly. An upgrade does not change your access period, and you are never charged twice for the same thing.

4. Access period, grace week and extending

Sprint and Accelerate give you 12 weeks of access from the day your programme starts. When the 12 weeks end, you keep free access for 7 more days so that you can extend. We remind you by email and on your dashboard. If you do not extend, your account moves to Explore. We never delete your work, projects or Career Proof because your access has ended.

You can extend in the last 14 days of your access, during the grace week or afterwards, by buying another 12 weeks. An extension is a new purchase. If you extend before your current access ends, the new period starts when the current one ends. We never renew your programme automatically.

5. Price and tax

The total price, how and when you pay, and any tax are shown before you confirm. There are no hidden or extra mandatory charges, and no charge for paying monthly.

6. Paying

The first payment is taken before your paid access starts. Monthly payments are then taken on the dates shown at checkout and in Account Settings, by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your card details. If a payment fails, we remind you and the payment is retried. We do not charge a penalty, and we do not delete your work because a payment has failed. If a payment remains unpaid, we will contact you to agree a way forward.

7. Your right to cancel

You can cancel any purchase within 14 days of buying it, without giving a reason. At checkout you choose either to start straight away or to start after the 14-day cancellation period:

  • If you start after the cancellation period and cancel before your programme starts, we refund everything you paid.
  • If you ask us to start straight away and then cancel within 14 days, we refund what you paid minus a fair amount for the service you received before cancelling.
  • Once you start downloading project materials, you lose the right to cancel for those downloaded materials only, because you agreed to this at checkout.

Upgrades and extensions each have their own 14-day right to cancel. We refund within 14 days of your cancellation, to your original payment method, and stop any remaining payments. The full rules, how we calculate the amount for service received, and the cancellation form are in our cancellation and refunds policy.

8. Using SprintPivot

Please give accurate information, keep your login secure, use the platform lawfully, submit your own work (or say where you used help or AI tools, as each project allows), and respect other people's rights. Do not upload confidential employer, patient, client or other third-party information without permission; use the sandbox data provided. Do not present self-reported or self-checked skills as verified.

9. Projects and Career Proof

Projects help you practise and demonstrate skills. Every item in your Career Proof is labelled by how it is evidenced: self-reported, self-checked, demonstrated (awaiting review), mentor-reviewed or mentor-validated. A mentor review is not an accredited qualification, professional licence or guarantee of how you will perform at work.

You own your original work. You give us permission to host and process it to provide the service, and to show your anonymised Career Proof to employers only if you are on Accelerate and have chosen to be visible. You can switch visibility off at any time. We will ask separately before using your work for anything else, such as marketing.

10. Jobs and employers

Vacancy searches link to third-party job boards; vacancies may close or change, and you decide whether to apply. Employers see only what is described in section 9. If an employer invites you to interview, you decide whether to respond. We do not guarantee vacancies, employer responses, introductions, interviews or offers.

11. Mentors

Mentors are experienced practitioners who give educational and career guidance. They are not your employer, legal adviser or regulated professional adviser, and they cannot guarantee hiring outcomes. Accelerate includes only the sessions and reviews listed in section 3. Your mentor will agree session times with you; if either of you cannot attend, the session will be rearranged.

12. Changes to the service and suspension

We will provide the service described when you bought it with reasonable care and skill. If we need to make a change that significantly reduces a core part of a paid programme, we will tell you and you may cancel for a refund of the part you cannot use. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary for security, suspected fraud, unlawful use or a serious breach of these terms, and will normally tell you first and give you a chance to put things right.

13. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the platform, branding, templates and course materials. You may use them for your own learning during your access period, but you may not resell or redistribute them.

14. If something goes wrong

If something we provided is not as described or not done with reasonable care and skill, contact us. We will put it right or, where the law requires, give you a price reduction or refund. To complain, email support@sprintpivot.co.uk; we aim to reply within 5 working days.

15. Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your legal rights as a consumer. We are not responsible for hiring decisions made by employers or for outcomes outside our reasonable control.

16. Changes to these terms and the law that applies

If we change these terms, we will tell you before the change affects a programme you have already paid for. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of the country where you live.
